Sash Balance -
A tube containing a coiled spring or spiral system that provides a counter balancing mechanism for double hung windows, eliminating the need for counter balanced weights affixed to the end of cords or chains trained over a fixed pulley wheel.
Double hung windows which open vertically - These type of balances are used as as an alternative to the traditional sash window pulley system to open and close the windows, the balances are intergrated in to the jambs of the sashes fixed by a single screw at the top of the pulley stiles and positioned into a foot located at the bottom of the sashes. once the sash is moved to the desired position it will be supported by the tensioned sash balances.

Economical general purpose single spring balance suitable for accessible windows. For sashes up to 18kg.
Lite-Lift.
Heavy duty twin spring pre-tensioned sash balances, suitable for slide and tilt windows and commercial applications where ease of sash movement is required. For sashes up to 43kg.
Assisted Lifts - Ensures easy operation of the sash window
Ideal for luxury installations or for the elderly or infirm, The sash weight is transferred to the balance as the operator applies his or her own strength.
