Option 1

Magnet Glaze

The Basics

The magnetic glazing system is a two part system whereby a magnetic strip is attached to a clear acrylic sheet and a steel strip attached to the window frame, when (A) is combined With (B) this creates a perimeter seal around the window, this traps a layer of still air between the pane of glass and the secondary glazing, a narrow air space of between 10mm - 25mm will maximise the benefit for thermal insulation, where as a wider airspace of between 50mm - 100mm will maximise the benefits of acoustic insulation.

Secondary Glazing                    Installation Guide  

The Secondary glazing system works with all wood and metal framed windows, Ideal for listed buildings, period houses, old cottages, outbuildings etc.

We can supply and fit all of the systems for you,  alternatively just contact us with the required measurements and we will supply you with ready cut assembled 4mm clear cast acrylic panels with magnet strips already applied, ready to fit - installation instructions included with all D.I.Y. Orders.

Option 2

Easy - Secondary glazing

This system is based on a small flexible edging strip that is placed onto the edge of the 4mm clear acrylic sheet. The corners are easily formed using a mitre gauge, a feature unique to our system, which gives a neat and accurate finish. The sheet is presented to the window frame and secured by nylon fixing clips and woodscrews. 

Option 3

Pro - Double glazing

Same principle as the magnet glaze system, only the magnetic strip fitted with a rigid pvc frame strip, when fitted to the frame it gives a neat professional apperance.
